About The Fairytale Disaster Club Archive
The Fairytale Disaster Club is an illustrated archive of emotional catastrophes, magical bureaucracy, and deeply unnecessary coping mechanisms.
This website functions as the official archive of the Fairytale Disaster Club universe: part story bible, part museum exhibit, and part magical government filing system. Every citizen, district, and catastrophe has been carefully documented by the Bureau of Emotional Catastrophes, an administration that is simultaneously overworked, underfunded, alarmingly enthusiastic about paperwork, and significantly better at record-keeping than preventing disasters.
Part parody fairy tale, part musical universe, and part government incident report, The Fairytale Disaster Club explores what happens when familiar storybook worlds collide with emotional overreactions, questionable decision-making, and complete administrative failure.
Within this universe, wolves require respiratory assistance, magical transportation systems regularly collapse without warning, royal families make life-changing decisions based on footwear, and entire kingdoms are held together by optimism, denial, and increasingly fragile paperwork.
Across woodland cabins, haunted castles, floating marketplaces, enchanted towers, and emotionally unstable fantasy districts, a growing cast of citizens attempts to navigate absurd situations with varying degrees of success. Most do not succeed gracefully.
Musically, The Fairytale Disaster Club blends electro swing, dance-pop, cabaret, jazz, theatrical storytelling, and cinematic fantasy into songs designed to feel both ridiculous and strangely epic. Each song acts as a documented incident within the wider archive, contributing to an ever-expanding world of interconnected characters, districts, and disasters.
The Fairytale Disaster Club was created by Nina (Ann-Sofi) as an exploration of emotional chaos, magical overreactions, and beautifully catastrophic storytelling.
